What to check before you order
- T-Track channel – These accessories fit the 20mm T-Track on Turtle Air and DST cross bars, so confirm your bars have it.
- Number of crossbars – Load stops are sold per bar, so a two-bar setup needs a two-pair set.
- Load rating – An accessory does not raise the bar rating, so stay within your bars and your vehicle roof limit, whichever is lower.
- Lockable where it counts – Ladder clamps and carriers that lock matter if you leave kit fitted overnight.

Are roof rack accessories universal?
Most roof rack accessories are not universal, they are designed to work with specific rack systems. DST Automotive's accessory range is built for the Turtle and DST T-Track system. If you have a different brand of rack, check the product specifications or contact us before ordering.
What accessories are available for roof bars?
The common ones are load stops to keep long loads in place, lockable ladder clamps, bike carriers, and baskets or platforms for bulky loads. DST stocks all of these for the Turtle Air and DST T-Track system, so they fit the bars directly through the 20mm channel without adaptors.
How do I secure a ladder to a roof rack?
Ladder clamps are the most secure option for daily carrying. They grip the ladder and lock to the rack crossbars. For occasional use, ratchet straps through anchor points on the rack also work. DST stocks lockable Extra Wide Ladder Clamps up to 76mm, so check the product page for load ratings and fitment.
Do load stops fit any roof bars?
The DST load stops are made for the 20mm T-Track on Turtle Air and DST cross bars, standard and pro. They slide into the channel and clamp down, so there are no drilled holes or adaptors. They are sold per crossbar, so match the number of pairs to the number of bars you run.
Do I need a roller bar if I am loading alone?
A roller bar helps when loading long or heavy materials without help, reducing the effort to slide materials onto the rack and protecting the load and the rack surface. If you regularly load 3 metre lengths or more on your own it is worth considering. Contact DST to confirm current availability for your setup.
What is the maximum load my accessories can handle?
Load ratings vary by product, so check the individual product page for the rated capacity. The accessory load rating and the rack's total load rating are both limits, and you must stay within whichever is lower. If you are unsure, contact DST Automotive before ordering.
Can I add accessories to a rack I did not buy from DST Automotive?
